On May 17, 2011, StingRays' friend and fan, Dan "the Man" Pesch, passed away. While his granddaughter Megan wrote, "...thank you for making his life better with your music" we StingRays feel that Dan made our lives better by sharing his love for music with us. We'll always remember how Dan's enthusiasm for the music filled the room and inspired us. We loved seeing him up front with his camera and often his granddaughters. He and our Dan (guitarist) would greet each other the same way "hey, Dan the Man." We'll miss Dan very much.
